The night earlier, Roy Kor told me to reach Mon house @ 12.
I was late. Cause I was playing DOTA(once only :]) + havent bathe.
Late for 30 minutes. So shameful la! I woke up at 6.30am.
&&& reached 12.30. They slept at 6 but woke up at 11.30am already!
HAHA. Somemore I havent make up yet. Chiong in Mon's toilet.
The Roy Kor passed me something...

It's an advanced birthday gift from him and Mon :]
They bought the same one for SADNESS for 21st bday :]
Then cabbed down to Heeren find Imran &&& Nicole Jie.

Then we go find Nicole le, she wear pink pink. HAHA
Like me! LOLS. I only had a pink cardigan nia.
Then we went to SPINEILLI sit wait for Sadness, A-girl && 196.

Then Sadness reached le, we slacked awhile.

Then after that, watched movie already,

After that we went to LAN SHOP.

10 June 2007Yesterday I went to Greatgrandma's wake.
Yup. Aged 96. Peacefully passed away to be in heaven.
She passed away on Thursday when I saw her on Tuesday.
She is probably the coolest greatgrandma I'd ever known.
She speaks dialects but she communicates with me in english.
Yup, she learned english during WWII. So cool right?
She was admitted to hospital on Monday,
where she had a phlegm stuck on her throat
and couldn't cough it out because of her weak body.
She had suffered 2 strokes for the past 4 years
and is wheelchair bound since her first stroke.
She falled down once and was found a day later.
She was really lucky to escape death so many times.
On Thursday, the doctor called my grandma to come down.
When reached, the doctor told them to have mental preparation.
GrandAunt Shirley, GrandAunt Linda and my grandma called everyone.
And told them to see greatdrandma for the last time.
So GrandUncle David, GrandAunt Losa and their 3 daughters,
Aunt Elsie and husband, Uncle Eric and wife,
GrandUncle Daniel and his second son came.
Uncle Denis was supposed to come too.
But the air ticket from America to Singapore is ex and it's too rush already.
It was 3 plus already. Everyone is so worried. (I wasnt there)
Then Aunt Linda contacted the prison.
Yes. For Greatgrandma's first grandson, her biggest worry.
He was in prison for drug taking and escaping from NS.
They had to call the prison, get doctor's approval and pay the prison,
to let her first grandson be out for just
one hour. (or less, i think so)
It is 4 already. Greatgrandma's heartbeat dropped to 35 only.
Scary! Oh my god. But her grandson still havent come yet.
Finally after 7 to 10 minutes, he arrived and called my greatgrandma.
Greatgrandma was so happy to see him.
At 4.13pm, her heartbeat stopped completely.
Grandma called me to break the news. I was so shocked.
But all were glad she passed away with everyone close to her.
And not because of the phlegm that cause her death.
Yup, I wasn't close to her. She adopted my grandma.
So we are not directly blood related.
Both her and my REAL greatgrandma are nonya. LOLS.
Ohh.. So
I HAVE NONYA BLOOD TOO!The wake was a christian one. She was from St. Theresa Church.
Wake, as Pst Kong of C.H.C said, is named as wake because...
In the past, as many places are still uncivilised and developing,
they can't differ death and sleeping. So, when a person dies,
they attach a string linked to a bell before he/she is put in the coffin.
And the bell will be left outside his/her coffin.
So if in case, the person is not dead yet,
his movement will trigger the string and bell will ring.So, funeral is known as a wake bcos of this tradition.
Saw many people. One was Veron. Yes, Project Superstar 2 de.
She's Granduncle David's 2nd daughter & she promised to teach me sing.
Yes. Only after I get my throat cured or I regain my falsetinato.
My maternal grandmother come with my uncle and aunt too.
Cos my grandma and her are in laws of my parents ma.
Grandaunt Linda brought my maternal grandmother to see greatgrandma.
I went too. My aunt didn't dare to. She got traumised by dead in coffin before.
So, I saw greatgrandma through the glass. So pretty. Like tradition cheong-sum taitai.
After that all my 4 aunt came to pay respect to greatgrandma. We chatted.
Because in Christian wake, they should not be gambling and making noise.
So we looked at each other and chat also luh.
Ate the buffet over there.
After that, the choir from St. Theresa church came and sang songs.
There came a butterfly. Chinese believe moths in funeral represent the dead's soul.
This butterfly is golden yellow. Very pretty and elegant.
So my mum said: "If you are greatgrandma, please stop at our table".
That butterfly didnt stop. But she kept flying on top of our table.
My uncle (not blood related to greatgrandma) said: "Come to me and show me if you are her"
the butterfly really stopped and rest on his hand. Aww~ Really is greatgrandma luh!
After the choir stopped singing, that butterfly flew to the flowers and rest there.
Uncle David starting taking lots of photo.
Uncle Denis' father came to pay his respect also.
Uncle David took pictures of himself, Uncle Denis' father,
my grandfather and grandmother.
Yes, and he made me take photo of him and his wife.
And he starting taking photo of himself too. HAHA.
Then suddenly, the butterfly came and stood on my 2nd aunt's hair!
And her hair was Henna colour(orange-red) somemore.
Uncle David quickly snapped shots of the butterfly.
When we are about to leave, the butterfly left Aunt's hair.
And flew to the corner of the wake. We were preparing to go home already.
Then suddenly, news came from behind.
The butterfly was eaten up by a lizard.
WHAT THE HELL! Curse that lizard!!!!!!
Hais. At work now. So bored.
Finished all of Miss Swan's comedies.
Blogging right now after slacking for 4 hours?
Movies completed during work:
Death note, Death Note 2, Cinderella(Korean), The Host,
200 pound beauty, eternal summer and spider lillies.
Videos completed during work:
2 cranberries mv, 3 same script diff cast mv,
about 15 of miss swan's comedies(couldn't find anymore).
LOLS! Can someone suggest me more movies please?
i'm bored! So bored!
I wish my birthday would come faster
cause I can thron and we can party [:
